ACT Training organise the Temple Street 4x4 Challenge which takes place each year in October. The event has been raising money for Temple Street since 2005 and so far €160,000 has been paid to Temple Street for a variety of projects.
The 2011 event will take place over the first weekend in October and Jonathan and Robert have been busy planning the route and liasing with land owners to gain access to private track and trails around Ireland. The route is ready and just needs some finishing touches before teams are given their maps and instructions on the Saturday morning. This year the event will start at Lough Lannagh Village in Castlebar and unusally will also stay there on Saturday night, which will give people the chance to see the start of the event on both days.
Sponsors this year include ACT Training, Crozier 4x4, OSi Ireland, Cavan Crystal and the Slieve Russell Hotel.
